Britney Spears isn't dating her manny

There's been speculation that Britney Spears has started dating her bodyguard/manny, Daimon Shippen, but a source close to them says their relationship is purely professional. People reports:

"He's her bodyguard and manny," says a source familiar with Shippen's employment. "They're not dating." Shippen, a California native described by the source as "funny, but on the quiet side," is "tickled" by the attention from the media. "But he really wants to focus on his job: taking care of the kids and of her," says the source.

Apparently this is the same guy who saved Sean Preston's life when Britney almost dropped him about a year ago. Although considering this is Britney Spears, saving Sean Preston's life probably isn't that big a deal. The 7-Eleven guy who found him in the hot dog case has saved his life. As has the cabbie who noticed him on the hood of the car. I saved his life twice this morning on my way to get coffee.

Britney's Got A Brand New Dog

After a false alarm last week, Britney actually did purchase herself a new puppy yesterday. Brilliant. It looks like during the same midriff baring shopping venture she learned about the wonderous world of tennis rackets. She looks so befuddled by it. But I thought she was a pro? About the puppy, apparently she's named it London and she was happy to show it off for the paparazzi on her way out clubbing at Ritual for the night. The little pup was probably scared of the flash bulbs, but hopefully he'll get used to it pretty quickly. Too bad Bit Bit isn't around anymore to show London the ropes.

The Perks Of Being Paris

Apparently Paris may have been living the good life even before she got out of jail - police are about to investigate whether or not she got special treatment while she was in prison. The privileges aren't exactly what'd you think, though - supposedly Paris may have enjoyed a new prison uniform, access to a cordless phone, and had her mail hand delivered. The phone sounds like it might have been a big deal, but we're surprised Paris Hilton didn't sweet talk more perks.As seen from the pictures above, perky Paris continues to enjoy herself since being released from jail including having dinner all dolled up with Nicky at Koi.
